We're Looking for YOUR Input

posted Nov 2, 2018, 6:54 AM by Jennifer Feke   [ updated Nov 2, 2018, 6:57 AM ]

Dear GK Parents:

The school year is now well under way, and your school council is busy making plans to optimize your child’s learning experience over the next several months. Many of you have expressed interest in wanting to be involved, however due to other commitments, are unable to attend school council meetings. We have put together a questionnaire to get your input without you having to attend - please see attached.

We will be compiling the answers and reviewing them at our next meeting on November 12th at 6:30pm in the staff room. If you would like your ideas for the school to be heard please complete the form by Thursday November 8th. Your feedback will inform our decisions on things like:

·        what to fundraise for - ie: technology in the classroom, phys ed equipment, outdoor classroom, etc.

·        how to fundraise - ie: do you want to keep the annual FUNraiser?  Do you have new ideas?

·        how to build community - ie: do you enjoy Family Fun Night?  What else should we do to improve existing events?  What new events could be planned?

We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your participation!
